Software Developer - Calverton location

0 - 4 Years Experience

Develop quality code while working in small teams. Work in a relaxed, supportive, professional environment. Write code using Java and C++ for real-time, business critical systems. Work on state-of-the-art systems for biomedical research.

Skills required:

  • B.S. Computer Science or any related degree with a 2.9+ GPA
  • Knowledge of Java, C, C++ or other object oriented language
  • Familiarity with Eclipse, SQL, and design patterns preferred

PC Software Support Technician - Calverton location

0 - 2 Years Experience

Provide technical support and assistance to IMS employees using a range of industry standard and custom software on Microsoft Windows desktops. Install, configure and make minor repairs to desktop PCs and laptops.

Skills required:

  • An associate's degree in a computer technology or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
  • Understanding of Microsoft Windows 7 and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience maintaining Adobe products including Acrobat, Photoshop and Creative Suite is a plus
  • Strong team player with problem solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills in order to relay technical information to users in easy to understand terms

Applicant selected must be eligible to obtain and maintain a level 5 "public trust" security clearance. U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent residence status required.

This is not a helpdesk position. Hours are M – F, 8:30 – 5pm.

Biomedical Data Manager - Calverton location

0 - 2 Years Experience

Review, code, and edit clinical information related to biomedical research. Assist with the development and assembly of case report forms, questionnaires, and other study materials for clinical studies in cancer, vaccines, infectious diseases, and medical devices.

Interact with site research staff to resolve questions on data, and provide guidance on study conduct.

Skills required:

  • BS/BA in biology or any other physical science with a 2.9+ GPA
  • Basic computer skills, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, for interaction with co-workers and clients
  • Experience with clinical data a plus, but not required

Analyst/Programmer - Calverton location

0 - 4 Years Experience

Write programs to analyze biomedical research data. Analyze national and international surveys and health care research data. Examples include the relationship between diet and cancer, utilization of cancer screening methods such as mammography, surveillance and prevalence of cancer, and genomic research.

Skills required:

  • B.S./B.A. Comp Science, Information Science, Math, or any related field with a 2.9+ GPA
  • Familiarity with any language similar to C, C++, and Java
  • Excellent writing, organization, and communications skills
