What We Do...
IMS provides an extensive array of IT services and clinical trial co-ordinating center services in support of biomedical research. IMS also designs and develops sophisticated software products. Our clients include the National Cancer Institute, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and major pharmaceutical firms. Founded in 1974, IMS has grown from 2 to almost 200 employees.
Corporate Philosophy...
It is our corporate philosophy to hire entry-level staff and to promote from within. We also try to create an environment where stress is lower than the typical IT firm. To this end we target a 40 hour work week and compensate employees for any overtime that is occasionally required. The fact that we have an exceedingly low turnover rate indicates how pleased our employees are with our policies. What our employees say about IMS. Work Environment...
Our employees are the reason for our success and they are IMS’s most valuable resource. We provide professional and comfortable facilities where we work in offices, not cubicles. IMS creates an environment where employees are challenged to use their problem solving skills in addition to their IT or biomedical knowledge. At the same time we foster a work environment where cooperation and teamwork are the standard.
